CINDY CRIMMIN  has been a full-time pastel artist since 2015 after a career as a Spanish instructor and school administrator. Her impressionist style was heavily influenced by her time spent in Spain during college where she majored in Art History. For many years, her work was limited to portraits of children and figure drawing. However, since her discovery of pastels, her focus has expanded to include landscape, floral, and seascape painting. Crimmin has won many awards for her work in both national and international competitions. She has also been featured in Pastel Journal as both a cover artist and first place winner in the Pastel 100 competition for Landscape. She continues to honor her love of teaching by serving as a judge and workshop instructor. She leads summer workshops in Gloucester and teaches weekly semi-private classes.

She is a represented artist at Three Stones Gallery.
